Appreciation Post

So I have to take the time to post a huge thank you to all of the amazing people who have touched our lives with love and support since Chloe was diagnosed the Acute Myeloid Leukaemia last year. It feels as though we can never express our gratitude enough to everyone that helped us through Chloe's treatment. When she was so low we were too and all of your support really helped to lift us back up.
To say both my family and my husband's family have held us up since this has occurred is an understatement. They have held our hands and been our shoulders to cry on especially in the early  month's. Everyone who made it over was amazing. And those at home just as good. Just by being here you helped us, and we felt your love at the time.
I want to say thank you again to all who supported us through the Give a little page. Your contribution made sure we got to stay together as a family when we could not have otherwise. Thank you.
To our local church and parish. Those who set up the fundraiser group and helped take part. Know that we count ourselves so lucky that Chloe has had so very many prayers and masses said for her.  For all those benefit nights and families days in her name. Thank you for caring so much about our tiny girl and surely your efforts got to the ears of God.
The same goes for the prayer groups around the world who have thought of Chloe during treatment. Thank you :)
To my coffee group. You girls have been so kind and thoughtful and though we had only just begun to get to know each other before Chloe's diagnosis I feel lucky to be a part of such a lovely group. Hopefully soon we can begin to see you all again sometime in the not so far future.
To Auckland GAA with whom my husband is involved. Thank you for supporting us throughout treatment.
To the complete strangers who helped us in some small way, either with a thoughtful teddy, or even a hug, it really meant the world.
To the ward parents. Those that I met on my brief stints away from my girl. You guys were and are doing it so very hard but are so flipping strong and brave. Keep on fighting.
To the people who cared and continue to care for Chloe. You got her safely into remission and hopefully now, she can stay there.

Chloe during Bone Marrow Transplant in December 2017

The first picture was Chloe during Bone Marrow Transplant in early December 2017. She was oxygen and a mix of serious pain pumps to get her through. The next was taken recently at home (March 2018). Hard to believe its the same wee girl. Check out that hair!

Her fight and ours is not over but we are hopeful for our bub. She is doing well and if we can make it over the first few years of remission safely her chances increase exponentially.  We are so utterly grateful to still have our girl growing strong. Thanks everyone for helping us get this far.
